When it comes to the love of the game, Coach Kevin Sabo is living it. He has been in and around the game of football for over 30 years, a player for 13 of them, finishing his athletic career at North Central College and began his coaching career. 

To date, Coach Sabo has coached thousands of offensive linemen at the high school, college, and professional level. Sabo has coached at North Central College, Fenton High School, Plainfield East High School, Glenbard North High School, Hampshire High School, and now Central High School in Burlington, Illinois. Coach Sabo has worked with players for the Philadelphia Eagles, Carolina Panthers, San Antonio Brahmas, Birmingham Stallions, Winnipeg Bluebombers, and a few other NFL and XFL hopefuls. 

 

He created F.I.S.T. to expand his coaching practice and expertise in service of athletes seeking to achieve their dream of competing at the next level.

 

Beyond the field, Coach Sabo serves as the best possible resource for the athletes that choose to work with F.I.S.T. by attending coaching clinics, speaking with college coaches across the country about techniques and nuances found within each position, and talking with industry leaders within the offensive line development circles. Coach Sabo roots his technique in biomechanics, posture, and strength through movement. 

Coach Sabo lives in Illinois with is wife, Ashley, son, Knox, and baby #2 who is on the way.

Coach Salomon has spent the last four years as the defensive line coach at F.I.S.T. Football Academy. Coach Salomon is also a co-founder for The Line Showcase. Coach Salomon spent eight years as the varsity defensive line coach at various high schools. Coach Salomon is local, having played his college football at Elmhurst and high school football at Barrington. Coach Salomon specializes in movement, mechanics, and techniques that apply to the game regardless of scheme.

Coach Witt is a retired professional football player that saw time in the NFL (Kansas City Chiefs and Atlanta Falcons), CFL (Winnipeg Blue Bombers), XFL (DC Defenders), and IFL (Vegas Knighthawks) as a center. He spent his college career at Western Kentucky University from 2016-2020, and Purdue University in 2021 where he earned All-Big Ten honors. He was a 5 year starter during his college career, starting 56 consecutive games at offensive guard.
